Our Story

Bloom Children's Therapy, originally known as Nicole LaRose, LLC, was founded by Nicole LaRose, MSR, OTR/L in 2015. Prior to establishing her own private practice, Nicole had worked at the Medical University of South Carolina for 8 years in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. Nicole loved her role as an occupational therapist and wanted to continue to provide exceptional services with a more flexible schedule.

With the support and guidance from colleagues, Nicole set out to create Bloom Children's Therapy.
As a sole practitioner, Nicole loved the relationships she formed with her caseload and the role she served as an educator with each family throughout the therapeutic process. Her values for family-centered care and evidenced based practice only grew as her son faced his second open heart surgery and required quality therapeutic services.

Since then, Bloom Children's Therapy has expanded to meet the growing needs for occupational and physical therapy services and growth in referrals in the Charleston community and in York County, SC. It is our mission to deliver quality care and support each child's growth and development within the clinic, home, and community settings. It is our vision that our services will have a long-lasting, positive impact on the overall quality of life for you and your child.
